Sustainability Policy 

Introduction 

Innavi is committed to contributing meaningfully to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), creating shared value for our clients and communities while safeguarding our planet. As leaders in the Hospitality and Food Service sectors, we leverage our expertise to drive sustainable practices that reduce environmental impact, improve operational efficiencies, and enhance customer experiences. Our goal is to help shape a safe, sustainable, and resilient future through greener pathways in the hospitality sector. 

Objective 

Guided by six principles, our collaborations with clients and project approaches within the Hospitality and Food Service sectors will focus on: 

  • Improving human health, safety, and well-being through the quality of design and supplied equipment. 
  • Working with our clients to reach a zero-carbon future where everyone has access to clean energy and potable water, especially in hospitality settings. 
  • Adopting circular economy principles to decouple economic growth from resource consumption, minimising waste in food services. 
  • Enhancing community resilience to climate change and associated risks, ensuring hospitality operations are prepared and adaptive. 
  • Creating social value for a more inclusive, equitable, and just society through sustainable practices. 
  • Restoring nature and respecting planetary boundaries, emphasising sustainable sourcing and waste management in food services. 

Our Commitment 

  • Utilise these six principles to guide our business and service strategies and shape project delivery specifically in the Hospitality and Food Service sectors. 
  • Develop collaborative relationships with our clients to deliver sustainable development and invest in partnerships and ventures that enable innovation and amplify our contributions within these sectors. 
  • Invest in learning and research to continually increase the knowledge and skills our people need to deliver sustainable development in hospitality and food services. 
  • Support the most vulnerable in society through our Community Engagement programs, focusing on local sourcing and community-based sustainability initiatives. 
  • Integrate sustainable development into our projects and corporate practices using our Group Policies (Climate, Nature & Environment; Health, Safety and Wellbeing; Quality; Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion; Ethical Conduct; Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking). 
  • Communicate progress to our clients and stakeholders through our reporting mechanisms and actively promote successful sustainability initiatives within the Hospitality and Food Service sectors. 

Governance & Accountability 

This policy has been established by Innavi’s leadership and implemented through comprehensive rules, procedures, training, and guidance. It is reviewed and approved annually, or more frequently if necessary, to ensure it remains aligned with our goals and external requirements. 

Innavi’s leadership team is responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of plans that achieve the aims of this policy while fulfilling all legal, regulatory, and other obligations.
